HATE COLLECTIVE is a collective of PH-based artists gathered by the internet, hell-bent on spawning various works of art that ranges from the macabre, the occult, the mystic, and more.
Founded in early 2016, the group is heavily virtual and is comprised by people from different provinces and walks of life, making it almost impossible for them all to be gathered in one place at the same time. Annual collaborative projects and exhibits are organized by the group to enable personal interaction and maximum potential growth among the members.

For the second collaborative project of Hate, a random zodiac sign was assigned to every participating member, who has to create a version of their designated sign.

For the eleventh installment of our Zodiac collaboration, Ice Carrion presents her interpretation of the Western Zodiac's The Lion, LEO ♌.
Leo (The Lion) is the fifth astrological sign, which spans from July 22 to August 22, bearing the element of Fire and the Sun as its ruling planet.
"Such warm and fabulous people; I was never a stranger to Leos. In fact I wouldn't survive most of my waking days if it weren't for them, as most of my close friends are these fierce people. They are known to be extreme socializers and headturners. They almost know everybody too!
My piece shows the "king of the jungle" status of these people as they are natural born leaders. They are dramatic, creative, self-confident, dominant and extremely difficult to resist. They can achieve anything they want, whether it's about work or their other aspirations. And don't think Leo women are an exception... they are also just as aggressive as their male counterparts."
